My Story

All four of my kids have uniquely different personalities, which often made it challenging to find a single parenting style that worked. Adapting my approach for each child sometimes felt like I was juggling ten different personas, and that was simply exhausting. To streamline my efforts, I returned to what I know best: regulation. Whether you have a spirited, deeply feeling child or a quiet, somewhat laid-back one, there are common and essential features to regulate the system for healthier mindsets and stronger relationships. I leverage the work of Daniel J. Siegel, M.D., and Tina Payne Bryson, Ph.D., on child development, along with Deb Dana's insights into polyvagal theory in therapy. Additionally, I incorporate Je De Sena's focus on skill development to build mental resilience in childhood, as well as insights from experts in EMDR and attachment therapy. If you're facing challenges in parenting, don’t hesitate to reach out for an initial consultation. Parenting is an incredible journey, and it’s immensely fulfilling when we feel confident in providing our children with what they need to become healthy, thriving adults.
